Monika Bacardi was present at the 92nd Academy Awards Ceremony held on February 9, 2020 in Los Angeles. As every year, she represented her production company AMBI Media Group.
For the first time in their history, the Oscars were dedicated to a South Korean film: Parasite by director Bong Joon-ho. The Parasite team left Hollywood with four statuettes: Best Picture and Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Foreign Language Film.
Finally, the award for Best Actor went to Joaquin Phoenix for his role in The Joker and the award for Best Actress went to Ren Zellweger for her wonderful performance in Judy.
