Monika Gomez Del Campo Bacardi, Lady of Bayfield Hall, known as Monika Bacardi, was born in Italy. She studied Arts and Literature. Of Italian nationality, she lives in Monaco for over twenty years. She got married to Lord Luis Bacardi – a descendant of the founder of the Bacardi company that to this day is still a family run business. Monika and Luis married and had one beautiful daughter, Maria Luisa.
Although she has been living in Monaco for the last two decades, she is the ultimate world-traveller, sharing her time between the United States and Europe. She is fluent in French, German, English, Italian and Spanish: no wonder she is considered one of the most influential businesswomen in the arts sector.
Her love for cinema has led to her co-founding the AMBI Group that she still runs today with her business partner, the Italian producer Andrea Iervolino. AMBI’s mission is undertaking to provide financial backing for medium to high-budget international films featuring Hollywood big names.
Only a few years after Lady Monika Bacardi co-founded the AMBI Group, the Italian businesswoman co-purchased the French Magazine, PHOTO. By doing so, she has deepened her business interests in the creative sector while reviving a cornerstone in the world of visual arts and photography in particular.
Monika Bacardi is no longer owner of Photo Magazine since 2017 and is fully dedicated to cinema.
Monika Bacardi is actively involved in several causes and she undertakes gestures of solidarity to raise funds and awareness in favour of the social issues that are dear to her heart. In the last few years, she has been offering her support to dozens of charitable organizations in Monaco, France, Italy and other countries.
